Background Born and raised in a Lebanese-American Catholic family, I came to the United States without speaking a word of English. Diablo Valley College became the place where I found my footing, my voice, and my direction. It was here that I learned not just the language—but the mindset for success. I was empowered by mentors like Dr. Concha Gomez from the Department of Mathematics, whose support and belief in me helped lay the foundation for my academic and professional journey. I went on to graduate from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in political science, carrying with me a powerful slogan I learned there—“The sky is your limit.” I later earned my master’s degree in international relations from the University of Chicago. After completing my studies, I began my career in wealth management—driven by a passion for helping others make informed financial decisions and build lasting financial confidence. Today, I serve as a wealth advisor and entrepreneur, working with professionals, business owners, and families to provide tailored guidance on investments, insurance, and financial planning. My approach is rooted in education, transparency, and long-term relationships. Over the coming months, I intend to launch my own AI-powered wealth management firm. One of its core missions will be to mentor and train recent graduates and driven professionals seeking to break into the industry. I aim to provide them with the best tools and resources available in the market—empowering the next generation of wealth advisors to thrive. Diablo Valley College will always be at the heart of that mission. I plan to make DVC a hub for this initiative—offering scholarships, creating mentorship programs, and building cooperative opportunities to help students succeed both personally and professionally. I’m passionate about giving back to the DVC community that helped shape who I am. Whether you’re a current student, fellow alum, or faculty member, I’m always open to meaningful conversations, collaboration, and mentorship. Let’s stay connected—and support one another as part of the greater DVC network.
